💙 Just like exercise, active recovery looks different for everyone.

Did you know active recovery is a great way to help your body recover from intense workouts and improve your overall performance 💪🏻💪🏽💪🏿 It involves low-impact movement that gets your blood flowing and helps flushes 🚽🤣 out all the lactic acid from your muscles.

💙 Here’s a few examples of how we like to take our “active” recovery days 💙

⚡️ Playing pickleball with friends
⚡️ Chasing toddlers and fur babies
⚡️ Going for a walk outside with our furry friends 🐶
⚡️ Enjoying nature 🐦‍⬛
⚡️ Good ole fashion game of LIMBO
⚡️ Yoga

Consistent does not equal constant. Allison doesn’t come to class 5 days a week. She moved to Utah during the pandemic.

There is no “end goal” needed. She just continues to move her body regularly. Honored to have her do it with us at HIIT Lab since the beginning (aka. 2016).
